There you sit in your tennis white’s with your face red, feeling blue! So sure that you had dressed perfectly to watch the U.S.A. take on Russia in the Davis Cup finals, only to realize upon arrival at Memorial Coliseum in Portland that you’re the only one not sporting a ‘no compromise’ wristband from the Andy Roddick Foundation.
The limited edition wristbands, all dressed up in America’s favorite colors (ahem!), show your allegiance while also supporting a very worthwhile cause. With the motto “Helping Children Today for Tomorrow”, the goal of the Andy Roddick Foundation is to make a difference in the lives of at-risk children, including those that have been abused, abandoned and neglected. Proceeds from the wristbands go directly to the Foundation and right back into the community.
“How could I have made such a huge fashion and philanthropic mistake?” you wonder while hiding under your visor. And then, all of a sudden, the solution hits you like a 150 mph Roddick serve; the 7th Annual Andy Roddick Charity Weekend! Taking place on December 8 and 9 in Boca Raton, Florida, the action packed weekend includes a dinner/dance gala with a silent auction and a celebrity tennis exhibition featuring invited guests Maria Sharapova, James Blake and Bob and Mike Bryan.
See! You really are a socially conscious tennis hottie hot hottie!
